Note to parents -
Dear Parents -
This is to let you know that we have moved all Hamilton K-5 students to Martell Elementary School as the result of plumbing issues at Hamilton. Students will remain at Martell until 3:10 p.m. while crews work on the plumbing. At dismissal time, the Hamilton students who ride buses home will board those buses at Martell and the walkers (along with staff) will be bussed back to Hamilton and dismissed from school.
While at Martell, the students will be engaged in appropriate activities. At this time, students are in good spirits and excited about the “field trip.” If you wish, you may pick up your student at Martell any time between now and 3:10 p.m. Martell is located on the east side of Livernois between Long Lake and Square Lake roads. The Martell number is 248-823-3800.
If you need to reach Hamilton school, you may contact Hamilton as the secretaries will be remaining at the building. Building Blocks and TOTS will remain at Hamilton as they have operating rest room facilities. CARE students can remain at Martell in the care program until parents pick them up.
